Web LinksLogging in to Clever The district has links to many of the resources listed below on this site, as well as some great resources that are not linked on this website.
1) In order for the student to log in to his/her Clever account, he/she must first log in to Google Chrome with his/her CCSS Google account. This means that if parents are logged into Chrome with their personal Google account, they need to log out so their child can log in. 2) Student Google account: UN: <firstname><lastname>@cowetaschools.net (student accounts do not have a "." in between <firstname><lastname>) PW: Infinite Campus Person ID (the student's lunch #) 3) Once the student is logged in to his/her Google account, he/she will need to go to Coweta's unique Clever URL: https://www.clever.com/in/ccss. Bookmark this for quicker access in the future. 4) Click to access his/her Clever account using his/her CCSS Google account. 5) The student will be logged directly into his/her Clever account, where he/she will see apps that are used in Coweta Schools and by his/her teacher. This will link you to my Google Classroom page. The class code is g52uv3g. Use this code to log in for both printable and online school closure resources. Your child will have to be logged on to their Google account to join the class. Their usernames will be: [email protected], and their passwords will be their lunch number.
I'm keeping track of school and district connections to activities and links, and I'm posting them in my Google classroom as I receive them and hoping that everything works! If you click on the "Classwork" menu at the top of the page, they are identified by subject area . Also, don't forget that there are links to both printable and online resources for all grade levels on our school website (there's a link above). They will be updated weekly, so make sure you check in for new resources, including short morning work activities! Find the current spelling list at my SpellingCity Homepage. Look for this week's date. Our school has purchased the premium version of SpellingCity with access to even more games and activities! I have sent home login information, but if you don't have a copy, let me know and I can resend it for you. In general, the login username will be the student's lunch number (although for some students a 1 or 2 will be added to the end), and the password will be their lunch number.
This is a website that allows students access to hundreds of eBooks! Students can read, listen to, and even record themselves reading these books. They take quizzes along the way to show the progress that they are making. When they click on the page, they simply choose Kids Login, enter my username (ccolvert) then click on their name. Their passwords are their lunch numbers.
This is another website which can now be accessed through your child's Clever Account! Back by popular demand! At school, my students will be using Prodigy Math to practice skills through game play, but they can also play at home. I've sent a letter with login information home. If your child remembers his/her username and password from last year, they can still use them - they just need to enter the code DD45B1 to join my class. The information letter includes directions for how to add a free parent account. There's an upgrade to the account, but it isn't free. Even without the upgrade, students can enjoy playing solo, or with friends as they practice their math skills.
This is another website which can now be accessed through your child's Clever Account! Enter your lunch number as both the user name and password unless I've given you different directions.
IXL has opened their Science and Social Studies objectives at no cost for the rest of the year. Look for yellow star highlights for those subjects, as well as for the Math topics, to see what standards are best for review and practice. On this website, students can practice their basic math facts to improve their speed and accuracy. Practice for just a few minutes a day, and those Mad Minutes will be conquered! I've sent login information home in our homework folders, but for most students the PIN number that your child will need is the first 4 numbers of his/her lunch number. When that wasn't allowed because it was a duplicate, I switched it to the last 4 numbers. Please let me know if you need another copy of the information sheet.
I have also linked this website to my students' Clever accounts, so that they may choose "Login with Clever". After choosing this, follow the prompts to the Xtra Math practice. This is generally an easier way to access the site. Special Note:
I have updated this link so that you may work on AR from home during school closures. It may be easier to access through your child's Clever account. They can access this when they log in to their Google account - it's the little blue button with a "C" which you can find in the right hand corner of the tool bar.
This site has games students enjoy in a variety of subject areas. Choose our grade level and start playing! One warning, though, this is not an ad free website.
This site has some great games for grammar and punctuation. Use the menu bar on the left to change games.
There are some really good ways to practice math facts and skills on this website.
It can be hard to find science practice online, but this site has some great games.
This website offers kids age-appropriate, step-by-step drawing instruction that they really enjoy. There's a huge library of free pictures, so joining is not necessary to use this site. It's also a fun way for the students to practice following directions.
